Ashton Edwards scores a game-high of 22 points in a 103 – 74 runaway game against Belmopan Bandits playing little beneath sixteen minutes coming off the bench on Thursday night for their first road win the 2018 NEBL season.
Edwards used his veteran skills to make his 8 out of 12 shots, including 6 of 10 3-pointers, going up against Bandits’ point guard Leroy Louriano.
Jamal Kelly followed behind with 20 points and Jihad Wright with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Raul Roaches and Douglas Valley added 13 points and 8 rebounds each for San Pedro Tiger Sharks.
Luther Page scored a team high of 15 points with Jevaughan McKenzie, Stephen Williams, and Farron Louriano chipped in with 9 points.
In the second quarter, San Pedro Tiger Sharks outscored Belmopan Bandits 17 – 33 and ending the first half with the score settled at 51 – 30. Minutes after the third quarter, Belmopan Bandits went on a 10 – 0 run trimming the lead to near but San Pedro Tiger Sharks bounced back and coming out with a 103 – 74 win.
