Below are the standings after week 8 with all the games taking on more significance in the playoff race to see which four teams will battle for the Pepsi NEBL Championship.

Below is a breakdown of the different playoff scenarios.
- San Pedro Tiger Sharks (8 – 1) – first team to clinch a playoff berth.
- Griga Dream Ballers (7 – 1) – will clinch a playoff berth with a win or a loss by Belmopan Bandits.
- Smart Belize Hurricanes (4 – 3) – will clinch a playoff berth if they win 2 of their remaining 5 games, with one of the wins coming against Belmopan Bandits.
- DigiCell Belize City Defenders (4 – 3) – will clinch a playoff berth if they win 2 of their remaining 5 games, with one of the wins coming against Verdes and the other win coming against Belmopan Bandits by more than 5 points.
- Verdes (2 – 6) – Verdes can clinch a playoff spot if they win their remaining 4 games and Belize City Defenders loses 4 of their remaining 5 games.
- Belmopan Bandits (2 – 5) – will clinch a playoff berth if they win their remaining 5 games and Smart Belize Hurricanes loses 2 of their remaining 5 games OR DigiCell Belize City Defenders loses 2 of their remaining 5 games.
- Orange Walk Running Rebels (0 – 8) – will be unable to make playoffs this season, so they will now take on the role of spoilers.
