The Pepsi NEBL Season will tip off on Thursday, January 18, 2018 as the defending champs, Belmopan Bandits, will host the sub-champions, San Pedro Tiger Sharks, in what has turned out to be one of the biggest rivalries in the NEBL.  The game will be played at the UB gymnasium in Belmopan, with tip off time being at 8:30 p.m.  There will be a total of 7 teams in the upcoming season, and these teams are Orange Walk Running Rebels, Belize Hurricanes, Belize City Defenders, San Pedro Tiger Sharks, Belmopan Bandits, Dangriga Dream Ballers and Verdes (previously Cayo Western Ballaz).
