Raul Roaches led both teams with a game high of 20 points, and 4 rebounds to continue their winning streak after coming off last weeks’ win over Belmopan Bandits.

San Pedro Tiger Sharks finished with four other players scoring in double digits. Douglas Valley with 19 points along with 3 steals, while Jamal Kelly had 17 points and a career high of 10 assists, and Jihad Wright with 16 points and 7 rebounds.

Jamie Carbajal led Verdes with a career high of 18 points on 5-of-9 shooting coming off the bench. Followed by Ivan Flowers with 17 points. Elvis Usher Jr. with 15 points, and Julien Travis with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.

San Pedro Tiger Sharks started out with a 9 – 0 and it was until at 7:40 Verdes got their first basket of the game by Elsworth Itza. Throughout that quarter, San Pedro Tiger Sharks remain dominant leading into the second quarter, but Verdes were right on their tails keeping it competitive ball game while ending the first half at 55 – 45. It was the same pattern in the other two quarters, but due to careless turnovers and missed shots from Verdes; San Pedro Tiger Sharks were able to open up their lead to as large as twenty one points and ended the game with the score settled at 96 – 84.
