Daniel Conorquie scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds shooting 7 of 14 from the field to lead Dangriga Dream Ballers to a 73-65 victory over Belmopan Bandits.
Daniel Nolberto scored in with 13 points and Brandon Flowers had a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Edgar Mitchell left the game with a severe ankle sprain (left) with .59 seconds remaining in the first quarter and did not return. Team officials reported that Mitchells’ condition to be day-to-day and that he will sit out Tuesday’s practice.
Farron Louriano had a game-high and a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds. American import, Luther Page followed with another double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds and Stephen Williams with 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Both teams started off at the same pace at the start of the game. At 3:27 of the second quarter, Bandits showed why they’re champions and went 9-2 run to end the first half. Bandits led 42-35 at the break.
Third quarter it was all Daniel Conorquie, scoring his 10 of 20 points giving his team the momentum as a result outscoring Belmopan 23-12.
Page split his free-throw with little over two minutes in the fourth quarter to make it into a two point game.
But after a foul committed by Quinton Bowen on Trevaughn Usher, sending him to the line and making both shots to give Dream Ballers a confident win.

Dream Baller: Tahj Wells had 8 points and 14 rebounds… was proven that Daniel Nolberto is one of the best two-way in the league limiting Bandits’ sharpshooter, Gregory Rudon to only three points.
Bandits: Travis Lennan with 6 points… Quinton Bowen made his Bandits debut after missing season opener against San Pedro Tiger Sharks… Jamai Avila and Emani Enriquez (DNP)… Bandits had its first back to back lose since February 25th – March 2nd, 2017.
