Almost an entire year since the unthinkable happen which happened to be the Belize City Defenders defeating the San Pedro Tiger Sharks at home to advance to last season finals. After such devastating lost, the Tiger Sharks were waiting all season to get this revenge on the Defenders and remove the bitter taste their mouths.

From the tip both teams struggled to get any consistent scoring going due to the defensive effort on both ends for both teams. However, throughout the game the pace grew faster thus resulted to more scoring which made it more exhilarating as a fan to watch and enjoy. But at the half both teams remained equal with a score of 39. The trend kept going until the Defenders were able to get their largest lead of the night with 6 points. However, being down six points seem to be motivation for the Sharks as they were able to come back from the deficit. But that didn’t stop the Defenders team to keep fighting to the end, but unfortunately time wasn’t on their side as they lost with a score of 79 – 76.
