Akeem Watters scored a season high of 25 points along side with 5 rebounds and 3 steals in 25 minutes and 20 seconds.

Glency Lopez added 19 points and American Import, Tyson Reynolds finished with 12 with 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.

Elvis Usher Jr. led his team with 19 points, and Julien Travis and Shemar White each had 9 points each.

At 6:58 of the first quarter Smart Belize Hurricanes with on a 26 – 5 run that would seal the fate for Verdes early on the ball game. In the second quarter, Verdes showed bit signs of life but no indication of the large lead diminishing ending the first half with a score of 51 – 22.

Smart Belize Hurricanes led the game by 20 or more points the entire second half, thus ending with a margin of 37 with score knotted up at 87 – 50.
