Cayo Western Ballaz is the third team to clinch a playoff spot, with a nail-biter 74- 73 win at the UB gymnasium tonight.   They now join San Pedro Tiger Sharks and Belmopan Bandits as the three teams who have clinched a playoff spot.  Hence, only one spot remains, and three teams are fighting to get in, with decisive games being played over the weekend.  The three teams fighting for the last playoff spot are Orange Walk Running Rebels, Smart Belize Hurricanes and Dangriga Dream Ballers.  Below are the different playoff scenarios for each team.

1]         San Pedro Tiger Sharks – has clinched a playoff berth. Will clinch the #1 seed going into the playoffs if they win their last game versus Belize City No Limit or if Dangriga Dream                                                              Ballers loses 1 of their remaining 2 games.

2]         Belmopan Bandits – has clinched a playoff berth.  Will clinch the # 2 seed and home court advantage in the semi-finals if they win their remaining game versus Smart Belize                                                            Hurricanes and Dangriga Dream Ballers loses 1 of their remaining 2 games.

3]         Cayo Western Ballaz – has clinched a playoff spot.  Will clinch the #2 seed if Belmopan Bandits loses their last game versus Smart Belize Hurricanes and if Dangriga loses 1 of                                                            their remaining 2 games.

4]         Dangriga Dream Ballers – will make the playoffs if they win 1 more game or if Orange Walk Running Rebels and Smart Belize Hurricanes loses 1 more game. Will clinch the #2                                                                 seed if they win their remaining 2 games versus Orange Walk Running Rebels and Smart Belize Hurricanes.

5]         Orange Walk Running Rebels – will clinch a playoff spot if they win their remaining 3 games versus Dangriga Dream Ballers, Smart Belize Hurricanes and Belize City No Limit                                                                               and Dangriga Dream Ballers loses to Smart Belize Hurricanes

6]         Smart Belize Hurricanes –  will clinch a playoff spot if they win their remaining 3 games versus Orange Walk Running Rebels, Belmopan Bandits and Dangriga Dream Ballers                                                                      and Dangriga Dream Ballers loses to Orange Walk Running Rebels

7]         Belize City No Limit – has been eliminated from playoff contention
